The Central Bank of Kenya in collaboration with the other Financial Sector Regulators (the Retirement Benefits Authority, Capital Markets Authority, Insurance Regulatory Authority and Savings Societies Regulatory Authority) has released the Kenya Financial Stability Report covering the period January 2019 to June 2020. The report assesses the global and domestic macrofinancial developments and risks to the Kenyan economy and on the stability of the financial sector. The report also highlights measures taken by the Government and the financial sector regulators, in collaboration with stakeholders to ease pressure on households’ livelihoods and firms’ incomes. The public will find the report useful in providing information on the assessment and outlook of Kenya’s financial system stability and resilience.
