Dr. Maureen Were, a Researcher in the Central Bank of Kenya, recently published a book, My Miracle Leslie in honour of her 12 year old daughter who was born with a rare condition known as Trisomy or ‘Patau Syndrome.’ The condition is characterised by physical impairment and intellectual disability. The book was launched by the Governor on 30th August, 2016 at St. Paul’s University Chapel.
